Cadets of Sainik School Ghorakhal met the Vice President on an educational visit to Parliament House

Dehradun In an important educational excursion, 35 cadets (11 girls and 24 boys) of Sainik School Ghorakhal visited the Old and New Parliament House in New Delhi. The yatra was organized under the leadership and direction of Principal Group Captain VS Dangwal.
The cadets along with their teachers deeply understood the historical and contemporary significance of these iconic structures and gained invaluable insight into the functioning of the legislative body of the country. The highlight of their visit was a special meeting with the Honorable Vice President of India Jagdeep Dhankhar where the cadets got the opportunity to engage in conversation with the Honorable Vice President and gain knowledge from him. This interaction developed an understanding of civic responsibility and public service among the cadets.
The Vice President, who is an alumnus of Sainik School Chittorgarh, was impressed by the young and thoughtful cadets of Sainik School Ghorakhal. He explained in detail about the rich culture of Sainik Schools and also shared his thoughts with the cadets. This educational journey has also instilled in the cadets of Sainik School Ghorakhal a deep sense of duty towards their nation. Enriched by these experiences, these youth are being prepared to become the future custodians of India's democracy and heritage in their alma mater.
