Ford Europe will go electric by 2026, the company announced, with its full range of passenger cars being electric or hybrid plug-in. The first European electric van model will be mass-produced in 2023. The commercial range also aims to become a full electric or plug-in hybrid by 2024, and the company claims that two-thirds of commercial car sales by 2030 will be electric or hybrid. Ford cars in Europe will be completely transformed into electric and plug-in hybrid by mid-2026. From 2030, all new Ford cars in Europe will be pure electric.
