Vikrant Massey’s The Sabarmati Report Opens With A Low Collection Of 1.40 Cr On Day 1

Film The Sabarmati Report, starring Vikrant Massey, had a slow opening day box office collection of 1.41 Crore.

Produced by Ekta Kapoor under Balaji Motion Pictures and Directed by Dheeraj Sarna The Sabarmati Report is based on the real-life incident of Godra train burning in 2002. The film portrays Vikrant Massey as a reporter who struggles to bring the reality of the situation to the world. The film also stars Raashii Khanna, and Ridhi Dogra in the lead roles.

The film has undergone a good chunk of cuts to pass the censor and was reshot to quite an extent. The film caters to a specific set of audiences and has no competition for the next few weeks.

Despite a low start, the film relies more on the weekday collections and the long run otherwise this Vikrant Massey film may bother the creators, unlike his earlier hit 12th fail!
